From Bilkent CTIS to Building Noderan

I am Ömer Batuhan Tandoğan, founder and CEO of Noderan. My work sits across AI agents, no-code automation, technical SEO, product development, and founder-led software.

This page is a short background note: how my path from Bilkent CTIS connects to building Noderan today.

TL;DR

  • I studied Computer Technology and Information Systems at Bilkent University.
  • My current work focuses on Noderan, an AI-powered no-code automation platform.
  • I build across AI agents, workflow automation, software products, and technical SEO.
  • My goal is to turn practical automation and AI systems into products that founders and teams can use without heavy engineering overhead.

Studying CTIS at Bilkent

Bilkent University’s Computer Technology and Information Systems program gave me a foundation across software development, systems thinking, databases, web technologies, and applied computing.

That kind of program is useful for product builders because it is close to real implementation. You learn how software systems are designed, how users interact with them, and how technical decisions affect the final product.

My senior project was LearnLink, an AI-driven learning and communication platform. I also co-authored research connected to Adile Ayda, Turkey’s first female diplomat.

Those projects helped shape the way I think about building: technology is most useful when it turns a real context into a clearer workflow, product, or learning system.

Moving toward AI and automation

My work gradually moved toward AI development, automation systems, and growth infrastructure. That included building automation pipelines, production AI chatbots, technical SEO systems, and product workflows.

The pattern was consistent: many teams do not only need software. They need repeatable systems.

Examples include:

  • Turning incoming data into structured records.
  • Moving information between tools.
  • Reducing manual copy-paste work.
  • Using AI to summarize, classify, or draft.
  • Building workflows that save time without adding operational complexity.

That is the practical side of AI that interests me most. AI should not stay as a demo. It should become part of a usable workflow.

Building Noderan

Noderan is the company and product direction that grew out of this work.

Noderan is an AI-powered no-code automation platform. The goal is to help people build workflows and AI agents without writing custom software for every process.

That means working at the intersection of:

  • AI agents.
  • No-code automation.
  • Workflow design.
  • Tool integrations.
  • Product operations.
  • Founder-led SaaS systems.

You can read a fuller explanation in What Is Noderan? and a practical breakdown in How AI Agents Fit Into No-Code Automation.

Why technical SEO still matters

Technical SEO has been part of my work because distribution matters. A product, profile, or article is more useful when people and machines can discover it, understand it, and connect it to the right entity.

For founder-led products, technical SEO is not only about rankings. It is also about clarity:

  • What does this product do?
  • Who built it?
  • Which profiles are official?
  • What topics does this person or company have authority in?
  • Which page should search engines treat as canonical?

That is why I care about structured data, internal links, canonical pages, and entity consistency. I wrote more about that in Entity SEO for Personal Brands.

Current focus

My current focus is building Noderan and publishing more of what I learn around AI agents, automation, product development, and technical SEO.

The public parts of that work live across:

The goal is simple: build useful products, explain the work clearly, and make the technical systems behind them reliable.
